British Crematoriums Install Filters To Reduce Mercury Emissions

This interesting piece of information came across my desk recently. This points to an interesting problem that reveals the real dangers of mercury while it's still in the body.

Time Magazine (online) published an article February 15, 2007 that had the following quote:

Bad Teeth, Bad Toxins By 2012 half the crematoriums in Britain will have filters that reduce emissions of mercury, which is used for dental fillings. The toxic metal can cause severe pollution when vaporized.
