My Mercury Amalgam Story

I went to the doctor in 1984 because I was getting really hostile splitting
in the corners of my mouth which hurt a lot (I was 14). The doctors didn't
know what the problem was and out of desperation prescribed cream. I went
from doctor to doctor until I worked my way up to a skin specialist who
prescribed anti fungal creams and hydrochortisone. I became heavily dependant
on these things and they would heal the splits only for them to recur.

Unemployed, miserable, and socially lacking confidence (and uncomfortable) I was convinced by friends to move from adelaide to sydney. I worked doing manual labour jobs as I had no confidence for face to face dealings and spent my hard on wages on
naturopaths, massage, acupuncture, and chinese herbs and tried anything I could to
change my miserable situation.

The doctors I came across were pretentious and superior, and to this day, I have little time for them.

Eventually I was working as a postman and developed RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) in both hands. I told my boss I'd had enough and that I had tried everything possible to improve my health in the alternative and mainstream form of medicine and that I didn't think I could go on. He suggested I go and see one more naturopath and as this one was consulting for free and that I'd wasted thousands of dollars on all sorts of other things. I thought, "what the hell".

I was definitely suicidal and I walked in and said my mouth hurts, my teeth hurt, I'm always tired and Ive had enough: YOU come up with a solution in the next 15 minutes or; do you see that building across the road? I'm going to jump off it.

She realized I was serious and she said open your mouth. Those fillings contain mercury. It's not natural. Get them out.

I never paid that lady a brass razzoo but she was right. And although I asked several dentists who said it was not true, I went to Ross McKay in Sydney and he took my fillings out.

My teeth were badly corroded. I've had twitching and flickering all over my body, chronic pain in my hands, chronic sinus, splitting cracked fingers, headaches, my back is out in two places (according to a chiropractor), and it has cost me a fortune.

It was the best thing to happen to me in 15 years. I'm now 29.

I hate dentists, I hate doctors, and I really, really hate the ADA!
